On October 17, last year, we entered Hubei Carbon Six Technology Co., Ltd. of Wufeng National Industrial Park. In the laser cutting workshop, more than 30 cutting machines flashed with laser light. On the CNC monitor, a white light continuously revolved around a small square to make precise cutting. The small square is not enough in centimeters, which makes people confused. What is this?

Can diamonds be kept? Lu Jilei walks into his diamond growing workshop. Unlike other workshops, there is no busy machine noise and the whole workshop is silent. "Diamonds are mainly made by instruments and do not generate noise or emissions," said Lu Jilei.
In the workshop, under the operation of several workers, more than 30 instruments are quietly raising diamonds with full horsepower. Through the observation hole of the instrument, we can see that the interior of the instrument is hot lava colour, and a grain of "diamond crystal" is slowly coalescing and forming.
"Precisely speaking, diamonds are produced in this process, mainly by means of high temperature and pressure, and aggregated by carbon ionization technology. Formed diamonds can only be called artificial diamonds after they have been cut and ground."
If a baby is in a dormant cradle, the growth cycle of a carat of diamond usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, and the price of ground artificial diamonds is 1/3 that of natural diamonds. Lu Jilei introduced that Carbon Six Technologies can produce 300,000 carats of diamond annually and the largest single crystal diamond can reach 6 carats. At present, there are only three companies in China with the same size as the company.
Does the company produce so many diamonds for jewelry?
Close to the display cabinet of Carbon Six Technologies, besides the shining diamond jewelry, there are many industrial products which look "sophisticated".
"Diamond jewelry is just part of the company's product line," said Lu Jilei, who says diamonds are also known as the hardest material in addition to their beautiful appearance and have good heat dissipation, and have many applications in the field of industrial manufacturing of new materials.
In the display cabinet, a surgical knife uses a diamond bit. Lu Jilei is proud to introduce that it can be used for capillary operation, which is not only more sharp than metal scalpel, but also has better aseptic performance.
Cutting head of industrial lathe, precise spray head of high-pressure water knife, heat dissipation base of chip etc. Artificial diamond is used for some ultra-precision machining, aerospace, semiconductor device, optical window, etc.

"These small, inconspicuous slices are worth tens of thousands of yuan." Lu Jilei introduced that the company has cooperated with Chinese Academy of Sciences, Three Gorges University and other institutions in production, and now the complete production process of cutting and polishing has been realized independently and automatically. Diamond can be cut into 30 micron sheets with a thickness of about half of hair and a third of common paper.
Through scientific and technological innovation, currently Carbon Six Technologies has 26 patents, including downstream supply chain enterprises of well-known companies such as Samsung and Huawei, all of which are customers of Carbon Six Technologies.

According to Lu Jilei's business blueprint, in 2023, additional investment will be made in Carbon Six Technologies, 150 sets of production equipment will be achieved, 500 sets will be increased in 3 years, and the sales will reach RMB 350 million, so as to gain access to the capital market within 5 years.
